It is a requirement of all landlords and letting agencies these days that tenants recommended for a tenancy are thoroughly vetted. The process is quick and easy to complete. Once you have seen a property that you would like to rent you obtain the relevant number of application forms and return to us. Upon receipt we apply for the references we require, this process will normally take between 24 and 48 hours to complete. At which time we are able to offer you the tenancy you require.

References required will typically include existing or previous landlords, current employers and as we carry out a credit search we require previous addresses going back three years. We would also need some proof of I.D. (driving license, passport etc) If you are an overseas client do not worry, we have a mechanism In place to assist you to rent a home here in the UK Any member of our team would be happy to run through the requirements with you.

When you return the application forms to us you will need to leave a preliminary deposit in the sum of £75.00 per applicant which will cover the cost of applying for your references and will hold the property until these enquiries are complete.

Once all of these references are received we arrange with you a convenient time and date to meet at the property whereby we will complete the necessary formalities at the start of your tenancy, which include reading and signing of your lease agreement and a through check of the inventory which also needs to be signed to confirm it accuracy and your acceptance of it’s contents.
PLEASE NOTE: That if for any reason we are unable to offer you the tenancy you require because your references are not acceptable or if you withdraw once you have submitted an application form you reference fee will not be refunded.
